Monthly chart Gold. I am expecting Gold hit $1650 don't see Gold trading back to $1560 or $1360 level. I am expecting Gold to build a base in the highlighted yellow area and then prices to move higher.

Gold Price Update - March 4, 2021 + Rising Bond Yields... Sell Gold.... iGold Advisor
Gold price is correctively moving lower rather than impulsively (need to watch YouTube video to ascertain the difference).

My avatar is baby Yoda but I hope my advice still counts.....
As Pete already stated with generic 1 oz raw bullion coin purchased in the UK it is about the type of coin and the premium over spot and delivery cost. Don't be fooled into thinking that 1 oz Gold 999 coin are all the same
You will notice Austrian Philharmonic and UK Britannia Post 2012 1oz Gold coin difference in £30 dealer willing to pay depending what type of coin you are selling.
Don't stick with UK dealers look bullion dealers in Germany / European mint / Coininvest (sometimes do special offers).
In the current climate looking at 3.5 - 4.0% over spot from a dealer premiums will reduce if you buy a full tube. Holding your first 1 oz Gold coin has a special feeling. Be careful don't want to end up being called a Gold bug....

I would would have love to have been around in the metals market in the 70's when the hunt brothers jacked the price up!!
Mark Douglas written books Trading in the Zone / The Disciplined Trader in his course How to think like a professional trader he talks about his Silver position had in 1980 (Hunt brothers Silver position started in 1979). Interesting history lesson starts 11 minutes into YouTube video

Because of what happened to his positions in Silver lead him down the route of trading psychology and subsequently became an author.

How much have you paid for a full set? Roughly I mean
Earlier ones in the series were very cheap in comparison to what I paid for the Wolverine (£37 + postage).... Part of an order placed with GS.be July 2018 crazy to think how cheap Silver and the premiums on this series was back then......

i hear from Andrew Maguire that he personally knows someone who is standing for 30 tonnes of November gold deliveries.
I initially thought no way a single individual would have the financial means to stand for 30 tonnes of Gold deliveries but I did the sums 30 tonnes equivalent 964522.3971 troy oz and and current spot price $1,723,456,845. In the USA alone 614 Billionaires https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_number_of_billionaires and all it takes is one of them to diversify into physical Gold. A single billionaire would need to open 9645 futures contract on leverage then I would assume pony up the rest of the cash on expiration and ask for delivery. Financially yes it is plausible and feasible but the Comex would never allow a single individual to take Gold deliveries of 30 tonnes and allow that much Gold to be moved outside it vaults (yes for a sovereign country / bullion bank but surely no for an individual entity) and demand the futures contracts settled in cash and have the legal right to do so.

Despite short term bearish price action I am still bullish on a long term basis. Impulsive move started in March low $1458 to $2089 August. A 50-60% retracement bring the price between $1700-$1775 such move should take out all the weak hands and the longer it takes retrace/price to settle should build base for the next impulsive move up higher.
Gold monthly chart below and I still targeting $2300 Gold price in the next few years.

Would you have preferred to keep your Silver stack then?
If Silver had stayed below $17 oz and Gold below $1400 oz and £/$ above 1.40 with no global pandemic with an increase risk in losing our jobs (already have few tenants struggling keep up with rent) then I would have completed both my Silver and Gold stacks I have no doubt. Don't get me wrong I loved my Silver stack and photos of the stack posted here it was always my intention to complete both. Weaker £ vs $ a higher PM price / premium and loss some rental income with job uncertainty mixed in I wanted to complete at least one of the stacks. Due to the portability of Gold vs Silver and I believe premiums with Gold QB coins will continue to rise over next X years we ( @h103efa it was an amicable discussion between me and my wife ) decided sell the majority of the Silver and complete Gold stack. Was that the best decision I don't know only time will tell.........

I will add to the superlatives - what a fantastic and beautiful stack. It must feel very special to lay out 105 1-ounce gold coins and admire them in all their splendour and loveliness.
Well done 🙂
I don't get to visit my safety deposit box that often and when I do go it is a very special treat especially when taking photos to look back on. The beauty of the stack is not at hand and it is out of sight and out of mind therefore never taken into consideration when looking at finances. When I visited the secure storage facility I could hear a customer in the next room and he was obviously counting cash he had removed from his safety deposit box. I was thinking at the time I am so glad I had saved and stacked Gold rather than polymer banknotes...........

In late 2018 we had six months falling Gold prices but it failed to take out the 2016 lows and Gold was not on main stream media radar. At the time many YouTube gurus were saying Gold was heading towards $1000 but Gold price failed on a monthly chart to penetrate below $1200 and at this time I got the Gold/Silver bug but I was still fearful of continued falling PM prices so I decided to invest heavily into a series that hopefully if the PM price continued to fall would be offset by premium appreciation and the best series around was the Queens Beast coins all capital gains tax exempt. At the time I did not envision Gold price breaking above $1400 level that had stood as resistance for four years and my strategy was to buy 10 of each coin in the series to complete a stack of 100 oz in Gold. When Gold price broke above $1400 I failed to continue to accumulate (PMs emotional metals) and towards the end of the series my wife and I decided we would still continue to complete the stack but had to pay some additional premium and increase in spot price offset by unfortunately having to sell off my Silver stack.

@MancunianStacker I am way ahead of you. Before I posted this thread I have ordered and installed the following items to replace my front and rear old flood light system and door bell. Ring Floodlight Cam and Ring doorbell third generation. @Mox I have had a little upgrade in my security system since you last paid a visit everything stored and saved in the cloud ready and available to be provided to law enforcement. I have also purchased a bow and arrow and have been practicing every weekend and have become an ace shoot. Feel free to drop by anytime pal .

Thats a great goal. Well done! Whats your average cost per oz on that???
I know my stack is now heavy Gold focused but because bought my Silver stack when prices were below $15 oz and selling this part of the stack the profits offset higher Gold price per oz paid for the last four coins in the series. I have not done all the calculations but if you take into account Silver profits then price per Gold oz below £1300

Congrats! Always a pleasure to deal with. Make sure you give me a shout when looking to sell those 😅
My idea at the start of the journey was when the collection was completed a couple years down the road provided premiums risen on all the Queens Beasts coins was to swap them with a dealer for 150 1oz Gold Britannia's. If @GSTrading willing to make that trade now lets do it . No plans on selling Gold stack.
9 hours ago, richatthecroft said:I’m sure the premiums on the last couple of releases will have made you wince somewhat, but these premiums will be insignificant longer term 👍
Premiums on the Yale hurt but the last three in the series were only 3.5% above spot not too bad (owner of the European Mint price matched other dealers). The spot price hurt more but that was my own fault for not pulling the trigger sooner.

2 years, 4 months, 6 days as a Forum member and investing in PM's I have hit three kilos of Gold milestone now breached 👍
With thanks to the wider Forum 🙂 and The European Mint where I have purchased a large majority of my Queens Beast coins.
I have had to sell large proportion of my Silver and part of my Gold stack to finish off remaining 1oz Gold Queens Beast coins and a special thanks to everyone traded with me/provided help and advice:
