1- Austria-Hungary 20 Francs /8 Forint 1890 - features an eagle , from Fiume region , only present on some 1890 1891 & 1892.

 

 

2- Kingdom of Serbs , Croats and Slovenians ( a brief kindgom preceding Yugoslavia)  20 Dinara 1925 

 

3- 10 Francs - Switzerland - 1922

I got the 1887 double Sovereign and it is a very shiny yellow goldcoin, not so copper shining dark as the rare 2 Pounds 1893 Queen...🤩

Picked this set up from @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer. I’m currently collecting the 1oz special reverse gold Britannia years in bullion grade but when it came to the 2005 it was proving rather difficult to find. With the help of @Roy (thanks!) I discovered that there were in fact no bullion gold Britannia’s issued by the Royal Mint in 2005, just the proof and it was a special reverse design year. The 1/4 and 1/10 proofs were made available individually but the 1/2 and 1oz were only available in the set, 1439 made so I took the plunge! Think I’ll have them graded and see how they get on

Anyone no why some of the reverse proofs are graded PL and not PF? I have a graded 2oz 2017 reverse proof libertad that is a PL70 and this one is a PF70. My best guess is its date related but who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️🧐

Chards usually give excellent coins. They have a higher chance of getting the perfect grade.

Here is the definition from NGC site

"PL Prooflike. The fields are mirrored. Does not apply to Proof coins."

According to this definition your 2017 2oz is not a proof.

Those reverse proof libertad's are beautiful, I wouldn't mind seeing a few more UK coins being released with that type of finish!

I don't remember seeing any reverse proofs with an ultra cameo/deep cameo designation either. You'd imagine it would still apply to the design even if it's a mirror finish instead of a frosted finish.

Maybe the grading of reverse proofs are still a work in progress for the grading companies at the moment.
