Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Received this 2017 piedfort sovereign today from @cornishrich quite disappointed with this purchase , I can see a few scratches on the coin , not a perfect coin , don’t know if I should send it for grading or not .

there is a little scratch at 11 o’clock and one at 2 o’clock.

If you are not happy with it I'm sure someone will greatfully take it off your hands

I could live with the two scratches if they were reflected in the purchase price. Did you know it had scratches before you purchased it?

Still beautiful

no the scratches were not mentioned and the coin was sold as a perfect coin , also the COA number of the coin I received is different from the COA number of the  coin that was advertised but the seller still insist the pictures were taken of the same coin even though the evidence is there for everyone to see .

@Calzehbhoy I have bought and sold so many coins on this forum , every time I buy a coin i upload pictures of them here and thank the seller , there have been times that little mistakes happened but this is the first time I am unhappy with my purchase and the seller is completely denying that he has sent me a different coin , so I had to name him here so everyone can see and suggest a solution , call me old fashioned .

If the serial numbers are different from the original listing then its fraud. Disgraceful behaviour.

Yes , you can see the picture of the coin when it was advertised by the seller , you can only see the last digit which is “4” but  the  COA number for the coin I received ends in “9”

@Rll1288 I've been trying to remove your name from the chat without success, believe it's a bug... Sorry for that

I believe @Nick1368 is right. I went to the post and the coins and the serial number are different. What's the procedure when something like this happens? Do you call a moderator to support with the process? Sorry that you going through this, hope you get it sorted asap
