Received this 1871 Sydney mint shield back Sovereign today.  Lovely coin. 
 

It came with the Douro wreck certificate and box but frankly as the capsule was loose it would be easy to swap the coin. So I am not sure that a grading company would attribute it as a Douro wreak coin. I would be interested in anyone’s thoughts on this.

Imo it would require the original spink auction receipt  or a RM COA to get the Douro attribution.  I can find out for you.

No problems I’m submitting my RMS Douro sovereigns later on this year.  I will confirm the requirements for the attribution.

A while back I asked a friend if he could find me one of these beauties as they never come up unless ordered direct. Fast forward to late last week when I got a message saying it had landed after a long journey around the globe..this for me personally is the nicest 1 kilo minted bar in existence and just wow it doesn't disappoint in hand

Received this wonderful Henry VIII Groat today.

Henry VIII (1509-47) Groat, Second Coinage 1526- 44, Laker bust D, larger squarer face with Roman nose, fluffy hair, crown arch does not break the inner circle.  Lombardic lettering, mm: Arrow. 2.62g,  S.2337E.

Exceptionally nicely toned with blue & green hues. NVF.
