Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

I just received my The Who quarter ounce gold coin.

Upon inspection, I notice a mark between the letters Z and A on the obverse. However, I cannot quite make out whether it is some kind of frosting error, or a scratch. If the former, it could be collectable and perhaps worth something. If the latter, I need to send it back for a replacement. What do you guys think??

That actually looks like it might be an error. Can you take a closer photo of it?

Nice coin!

Really like the ripped effect around 'The Who'.

It looks like extra frosting but interestingly, it looks like a pin ball flipper!

I'd keep that one.

Is extra frosting better than missing frosting? 🤔

You may have done this already, but if you click on the image, it'll download a higher resolution of the image and then you can zoom in closer to get a better look.

Edit: Click on the image again and it should open an even larger resolution and you can get an even closer look 👀
