My first addition since 2019 amazingly (got hooked on crypto, the shiny has brought me back...huzzah!)

2019 1 oz Gold Buffalo, amazing how my camera washes out the gold from the picture... this thing is really gold as opposed to the modern coppery sovereign! I think my favourite bullion gold coin.

Nice, I hope to get one one day.

I think the issue is the auto white balance on your camera. If you photo it against a different backgound the gold should show up.

Something a little different from my sovereign collection arrived today.

This 1918 Canadian George V 50 Cent coin, .925 silver with some nice toning for its 103 year age.

A very nice and what appears to be, a very honest and straight George V 1927 Silver Proof Set.  15,030 Proof Silver Sets were produced in 1927.  
 

The 1927 ‘Wreath’ Crown was the first Crown issued for George V and the first since the 1902 Edward VII Matte Proof Crown. 

It was an Impromptu Sunday evening eBay gamble.  It’s been on my want list for quite some time and I don’t know why I left it quite so long- it’s a beautiful Set.

This little beauty arrived today, my first foray into older Sovereign's but I couldn't resist... 200 next year!  I need to consider if it's worth grading, part of me says yes, another part prefers capsules?

Received these from my mom been in the family over 40 years  I have  been told glasses belonged to a jeweller in Birmingham  his workshop is displayed in the museum  and these are reasonably old poss gold ?

Well, this shows that the Royal Mint did put them on their website.  Can I ask what day did you buy it (and the time)?  I have been watching the web page all week and have not spotted it.

I had to google “1oz Britannia proof  platinum” it’s the only way to see it on the website. Now sold out.
