  4. For sale here are three of the original French 5 Francs Hercules world silver coins. In contrast with their 10 and 50 Francs counterparts, these coins feature the original obverse Hercules design and circulated in the 19th century. These three examples are dated 1873, 1873 and 1875 respectively. Each of these old French crown-size coins consists of 25 g of .900 silver. This is typical for coins whose specifications were governed by the Latin Monetary Union (LMU) standard.   5. For sale here is an absolutely stunning Netherlands 2½ Gulden dated 1931 and featuring Queen Wilhelmina I on the obverse. With a diameter of 38 mm and a constitution of 25 g of .720 silver, the is a large world silver with a nice weight. Beautiful rainbow toning across the obverse and reverse of the coin and lovely incused edge lettering. This example has a mintage of 4.4 million and features the lovely little seahorse privy mark.   10. For sale here is a lovely example of a 1815-A French 20 Francs featuring French king Louis XVIII in a dressed bust obverse. There is a considerable amount of history connected with this particular king and the era in which he reigned. This 20 Francs is identical in size and weight to all other Latin Monetary Union (LMU) standard coins. It contains 6.45161 g of .900 gold and has a diameter of 21 mm.   14. Now here is a rather unusual offering for the forum!... For sale here is a pair of lovely Project Mercury commemorative gold tokens. These 18K gold commemorative medallions/coins were produced at the Vienna Mint. As this was imported into the UK it had to be hallmarked as imported gold by law. The h letter mark indicates the year which is 1963.
