Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Lovely coin! As a bit green on these matters can you suggest a good website for Marsh as I’ve seen it mentioned a few times on here and I don’t fully understand how it works. Thanks

Hi, You'd be better to get the book. A new and updated version was released in May this year.

I'll tag you in my original post about The Gold Sovereign book.

£400 per oz?

If it dropped that low, this would be me leaving the bullion dealers incognito. 😂

That's what I'd have to resort to if I couldn't find a truck!!

I'd lose the walking stick and replace it with another wheelie bag!! 🤣

A couple of 1935 crowns from @ilovesilverireallydo. Best username on the forum IMO - sums up how most of us feel...😁

Paid for yesterday lunchtime, through my letterbox this morning, great service.

Not rare, not special, but I really like them. Might have a new obsession for a while.

Always worth checking the edge inscription for the error.  I’ve seen people miss it.  You might be lucky!

No errors unfortunately, but I was lucky enough to pick up RM lunar horse mule for spot a couple of years back. Probably used up all my luck then.

The coin on the left has an almost skeletal look to the horse...sweet.

New piece I’ve come across, Not really a US coinage collector but I couldn’t pass up a piece over an 100 years old plus being a first year release…. The gent didn’t realise he was selling a Carson City mint issue, I mentioned it & he still honoured the price. Goes to show you there are still honourable folks out there.

cost me £21, The reverse eagle has been defaced I don’t know why someone would do this…. Maybe they intended on turning this into a hobo nickel & it was unfinished or someone tried testing if it was genuine silver.

Either way a bargain at the price I paid, considering the history of the Morgan dollar, Can’t go wrong.
