  1. Bar wise I just go for what gives me the best bang for my buck…. Picked up 2 metalor 250g bars the other day which worked out £23.01 oz.
  2. 1st silver buy for me was 3 ozs back in 2017 1 maple, 1 Britannia & an ASE. Maple has since moved on but the other 2 are still in the stack
  3. What a s*** show…. Has royal mint really lost their minds??
  4. I do like the ASE…. Something about the size/feel of those bad boys really do it for me
  5. I’m going for sovereigns and CGT free quarter oz’s as my main base purely so I can cash out small amounts as & when needed. A few 1oz coins mainly for passing on to the kids
  6. I’ve got a nice shiny 2022 ready and waiting
  7. Not before grabbing the gold and a packet of haribos
  8. Not gonna lie, was nice having some quality paper delivered thru the door!! All I’ve had in the last few months are tax ones. Haven’t had post from H&B for a few years… they must have got to the back of the pile again. £39 for a half gram proof coin… could be spot price by the end of the month??!!??
  9. Well, that’s a box ticked for my 2024 goals…. add 1oz CGT free coin to the stack! A beaut of a coin as well
  10. Never known so many people have such bad luck when it comes to boats as i’ve seen on TSF
  11. Seems weird that it’s available to order? Would they not just have all 7 of them sat on a shelf ready to go?
  12. Ha, that is so true at the moment that’s for sure
  13. Won’t let me add anything to the poll but that’s a fair shout. The original plan was enough to cover a years worth of living (so about 12oz). I’m a few grams short of 20oz (well that’s what my Therapist said) but no real pension apart from the work place one. Got a nice chunk in a S&S isa and no mortgage so not too bad off.
  14. Impressive? I glitched my pants when I saw that
  15. With prices hitting ATH pretty much every other day, have you thought about a cut off point? Me personally, I’m still gonna stick with the plan of at least a sovereign or 1/4 oz a month till retirement and then cash out that Sovereign or quarter per month to help out when the pension isn’t enough to cover my planned life style of slow cars and fast women!!
  16. Metro bank do a can of Dr Pepper and a warm Tuna sandwich if you’re one of their “special” customers
  17. I try and sit on £500-£1000 in cash for instant access and have £9k in premium bonds which I can cash out within a week if needed. Gold and Silver is long term and last resort. A couple of other bank accounts for when Lloyds are playing silly little monkeys with what I can spend my money on as well. That seems to work for me
  18. 99 is my guess.... a stunning display of real wealth
  19. In all honesty, it hasn’t offended me. Hoping the bullion are a nice addition to the stack once they get released
  20. Can’t argue with that. I can see the appeal to collectors of gaming in the long haul but I think Bobski asked about moving it on within a year for a profit.
  21. The Wonka bars had a limited mintage of 3000 if I remember rightly so slightly more exclusive numbers wise. More “collectors” would have known of the film than maybe know of the Game COD so will that effect your flip for profit within the year....?? These are getting imported over so maybe more limited than the 3000 Wonka bars. I watched a few get auctioned on certain FB groups and was very surprised the bids got as high as they did for a 5g bar but when you see certain 1g bars going for over £100 maybe it’s a gamble worth taking if you’re one of the first to get your hands on one and can get it listed before the rest do.
