Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Lol..im diabetic so chocolate is for treats or low blood sugar attacks.

Based on the replacement of fatty diets with high carb and high sugar diet across the world, we're all on the path to diabetes and much unhealthier lives.

The pharmaceutical companies are rolling in the cash that make the insulin.

Highly recommend watching Dr. Eric Berg DC.

Search for 'insulin resistance' under his name on YouTube.

Very informative and contracdictive methods, on how to reverse type 2 diabetes or pre diabetic phase, compared to 'standard practises'.

Cut out carbs, sugar and other food types and explains why and what happens to your body when you do this and what to eat instead.

Makes total sense.

Even has a video on how to reverse eye sight problems, which also make total sense.

Has over 5 million subscribers.

It's better and healthier to stick to high cocoa dark chocolate. I always have a stash at home. Currently it includes Godiva 72% and 90%. Basically anything at least 70% cocoa solids. Green & Black do some nice organic stuff. I don't know if you have tried any 100%, which could politely be called an acquired taste, although there are some good ones including Montezuma. Most supermarket own brands are revolting.

I presume the diabetes is type 2, in which case, do you know your BMI and waist measurement? Most type 2 diabetics can improve their condition or even eliminate it completely by weight loss, particularly using a low to moderate carbohydrate diet.

Lucky fellow! My brother and family live in Indiana a bit off the beaten track. One of the main McVities factories in Glasgow is in danger of closing so hopefully doesn't affect you. If you get the opportunity I would highly recommend Tunnocks Tea Cakes or Caramel Wafers- a Scottish favourite!
