While transferring my silver Tad collection to a beautiful box supplied by @morezone, I was a tad perturbed to discover that my 2010 was scratched and needed replacing. The substitute arrived this morning.

Today I received, 

My first 1oz gold Britannia, purchased from @Xander. It’s a lovely 2016 and goes nicely with my 2016 1/10 gold Britannia, which I  recently purchased from @Fastnick. 
 

I had no intention of buying a certain year, I just wanted to add some gold to my stack. I now have a urge to complete the set.

Got something really awesome today! 

In 1976, Mel Wacks, a Jewish numismatist in the United States, began designing and producing counterstamps and counterstamped coins. The fifth design and counterstamped coin produced by Wacks commemorates the Mexico Papal Visit. 

2500 were made. And I managed to snag one!

My last coin needed, to complete a date series of 2000 - present day Britannia coins, a reason for joining TSF. that’s one of the kids sorted, just need 2 more for the other.

Might buy another box put the 2020 in it to encourage him 😂

Very nice. Thought those were 1oz gold Britannia’s there for a second  ... that would be even better wouldn’t it?

Yes mate they have a couple, personally gone more towards sovereigns and been using Atkinson’s, getting ready for another order but focussed on completing Kooks and Koalas next on the list.
