75th birthday sovereign joins the coronation sovereign. I find them making a nice pair of 2023 SoTD, uncrowned and crowned portrait obverse.

Received today a very nice Coronation silver coin in reverse proof. Now, this and the standard proof silver 2oz make a nice pair. \ COA mentions reverse frosted with a max mintage of 1006.

Also with this 1872M, it has a 180 degree error rotation. Interesting.

It’s almost a day after launch and the SoTD is still available. i wonder what the mint would do if the demand/pre-order is less than the maximum mintage? Do they mint less on the actual day?

The coronation SoTD and birthday SoTD would make a good pair. Matte, plain edge, no special reverse, no privy, with crowned and uncrowned monarch. only the price…. 😄

Sydney mint type II sovereign with very nice portrait from Leonard Charles Wyon. I think this portrait is used only in the Australia sovereign (?) Common date but with very nice yellow gold cartwheel lustre..

This would have been THE real coronation set, with proof and reversed proof coronation ounce coin. Very nice!

The 5th birthday of Prince George, Strike on the Day Celebration Sovereign Struck on 22.7.18. Very nice coin with mintage: 485. It has been on my wishlist for a while now. GoldDiggerDave has been recommending this alot, and glad that I got this before the interest on the forum gets too high 😄

Finally received mine. Looks good overall, but the rim/edge is a little disappointing with some scratches and wordings that are not aligned in the center (some parts higher some parts lower) 🙄

On the bright side, maybe we will have less issues with opened capsule during transit (?). Anyone know how these capsule holds together? I have not seen such coin capsule before. 🙂

Was not so convinced initially on the design but it looks better with more pictures and video surfacing. Logged into RM, placed order for 2oz silver and logged out. Surprised that they are still available after a day! 😄

... and they will be dated 2022 when launched in end January 2023. And logically assuming there should be a bullion 2023 version. What a busy year for Sovereign collectors. LOL...
