Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

I thought the same thing. Either you have some very adventurous and rewarding hobbies or you bought them 😂 no idea where though

I wish I was adventurous like Indiana Jones, Just waiting for the hat & whip to come through lol

Majority have been purchased over the years direct from miners/prospectors :)

A MAN OF FEW WORDS.....

First south African rands- great sized coins and high silver content for the date! :)

Finally an opening of parliament florin. Really love Aussie .925 and think that the portrait of KGV is great- shame it wasnt the same portrait used for GB coins!

I love those Aussie florins, the reverse is more like a beautiful medal than a coin imo,  one of those is on my bosses wishlist, stonking example there, still waiting for my two coins, I have seen loads I would like this week, must resist buying more it is so addictive, especially when something that looks nice and has a really low starting bid/buy it now price.

I know the feeling- saw a lot of VERY nice coins worth an easy £130 go for £75 last night 😕 thankfully my friend won it at least, but I know im going to end up buying them all off him at full price 😂 some real big and rare coins in the lot- I'll definitely get a couple at least.

Yes the Aussie florin has been on my radar for a while now, not sure why it took me so long to get one. It's not in the best condition but I got it for a very good price so can't complain!

Today I received two proof 20 Balboas silver coins.

I used to have one of these, and sold it - then I wish I hadn't. I have been waiting for a good deal for a while now.

61mm diameter, with 3.85oz of silver in each.

Got the two for £115 including special delivery, so works out to £14.93 per ounce delivered.

Stacker since 2013
