Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

I couldn' resist and had at least to get the 1/4 OZ QB Set. Was really afraid to see the quality. I have to say everything really fine, no spots. Just one little mark on the frostig area of the white horse coin. Nothing that makes me sad, i'm happy. Don't know if i hold them forever cause they are really small but i have not the nervs to take the risk for the 2 OZ set. But for now i play a little bit with them and the 5 OZ Completer

I've got the 3 coin set, very, very nice, splendid indeed! 😍

What you pay for the 3 coin if you mind me asking. Feel free to PM me :) … wish I had got the 1989 4 coin set when it first came out… would have got about 5 sets I think!! :)

Sorry, I can't remember exactly off the top of my head and that information should be included in my tracking spreadsheet!

I think it might have been around the £1,700 mark?

Received a few coins back from PCGS today.

I noticed that the Queen’s portrait on the obverse is not aligned to the reverse. Has anyone else seen the same die misalignment on this coin?

I pointed this out when it was launched, the reverse is normally displayed tilted. It’s a great looking coin it was always going to be a difficult one to slab.

To my knowledge it’s the only 50p with off axis dies.  BTW have you noticed the dent shield 50p is up side down.
