Vintage Jelenko fractional bars. It’s a beautiful set in fantastic condition. A very interesting piece for me, that appears to have a bit of scarcity about it, as I can’t see many around. Will certainly appreciate it.

2 more 1/10 oz platinum Britannias for the recently started platinum stack. Think platinum has a lot of upside potential given it's more rare than gold and rather cheap compared to a few years ago.

Difficult to find though! Most dealers don't do them, and those that do are normally out of stock!

2022 1/2 Sovereign

Today I received HISTORY embodied in 3 silver roman denarius spanning the reign of severus septimus. Th first coin with his wife Julia , the second with his eldest son Caracalla and the last with his younger son Geta who was murdered by Caracalla in the arms of their mother, Julia.

Holding these coins just feeds your imagination. Who owned them?, who earned them and how were they earned ?, what have they bought ? How many times were they lost or won on the throw of a dice ,a chariot race or a gladiatorial fight? Have they travelled with a legion or been through the odd brothel? Have they bought a slave or freed one? How many times did they get someone drunk?

Owning these coins now means I have a lot to live up to in adding to their rich history but I'm going to give it my best shot. 👌

I still feel that regular hooves instead of flippers would have been better though...

Understandable. I like it as is. Horses for courses (pun intended) 😄

Hopefully its a 1 year only design. Just to add to its rarity.
