Well it's been a while since I posted in this thread...will have to do some catch up soon with all the car parts that have been coming my way of late....however here's a nice piece that arrived today. Thanks to @Chrispringle85 for being open to sending this fine 2022 SOTD sov to a poor colonial lad.

Chrispringle85 did an amazing job on the packaging...Double wrapped to survive an A bomb blast and wrapped better than King Tut.

These sotd are the most beautiful of all the 2022 sovereign's imo. The matt finish really makes these. Nice pick-up mucker!

Its as been a my pleasure mate. It took me all morning to wrap the parcel but at least arrived safe and I can sleep easy now 🤣👍

Got to admit, was tempted to leave it wrapped...it was a work of art 😀. However an xray image of the package to reveal contents wouldn't cut it so, so took the knife to your handy work. ....Enjoy..you betya.

Received a very kind gift from a work friend today who is originally from New Zealand and knows I have a thing for coins and shiny stuff.

1949 NZ George 6th Crown (.500 silver) for a proposed royal visit which was cancelled when old George fell ill. 

200,000 minted in London and shipped over to NZ.

A nice coin in nice condition, happy days.

So after eying up @Leonmarshwatch listing, I was sent down a rabbit hole of research, videos, reviews and online browsing.
