Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

I haven't been at this long but can't stop buying stuff 🙈 I don't really know what I'm doing and have been bending the ear of several members. They've all been very patient with me and have been very helpful for which I'm extremely grateful. My Mrs has started asking me to calm it down a bit. now, what else is for sale? oooo is that a Gothic Crown I see 👀

What i try to do is order stuff to come when she's not going to be in 😂

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

I have been placing a couple of orders with my Belgian friends over the year, which I left in storage there to save on shipping. Recently, it was time to send all of those orders to me, so hereby a selection of all the goodies I have now.

Is that 1/4 oz Maple in a certi-card pack? I know they do the 1g'ers in blister packs (individual and 25 pack) but not the larger maples. If yes, could you post a pic of the full packaging (front and back).

Thanks.

I guess you could call it a blister pack, even if that's perhaps a bit of a stretch. Either way, this is the plastic packaging it came in, and I will release the 1/4 Maple from it once my coin capsule order has arrived, which should be soon.

Thanks for the follow-up info. Initial pic on dark background looked like some form of certicard packaging. Regardless still not a bad way for RCM to send their coins out. ie no tube rubbing damage in transit.

These coins are very nice to look at, simply well made, although I don't collect the colourful stuff myself. But of course something for the eye.
Maxe wishes you all a happy 4th Advent.

Did you buy them as gifts or just for the hell of it?

Just for the hell of it initially, but I think I'll only keep the middle one and add the other two to the present pile. Each is limited to 999 pieces worldwide apparently.
