Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

I too received some 2021 coins this week including the Kook, Australian Lunar, Britannia and the QB Greyhound.
Every Perth Mint unmarked and in a capsule.
8 out of 10 QB coins were scuffed on Her Majesty's face & neck
4 out of 5 Britannias also showing rub marks on their highest points.
Awful handling by our Royal Mint and such a shame because the designs are outstanding but in my mind devalues each scuffed brand new coin to little more than scrap.

She is a beauty for sure. I did have the MS65 top grade but this had just been graded in the US & I stumbled across it. This is the Single Finest now. Compared to the 65, the obverse is slighlty more detailed & lusterous. The reverse is slightly less detailed on certain points but the luster is amazing.

66 is left & 65 right.

Great comparison, the reverse on the 65 is much stronger than the 66, clearly better defined detail. Two stunning coins there, if I had my pick I'd take the 65 I think it has much better eye appeal... well from these photos anyway. Super coins.
