Totally agree! When I mentioned years ago to friends, family and co-workers that Venezuela's hyperinflation could also happen the Western world, I was looked upon like a lunatic. 99% of the people still don't know how to protect themselves from inflation even thought the basic info on the subject and pm is all over the web. It's gonna be a hard fall for the majority unfortunately

Happy to see your postiescope in such good condition after so many boating accidents. Silver is just to heavy to be safed in such tragic happenings. The pirate queens coin looks great

They are a good set, it's the last one in the series, at least you can save 3 easily instead of worrying about 10 of the blighters, and they aint as expensive as the Black Flag set

The postiescope is a novelty but it actually pulls out and works...

Went to favorite LCS today and filled a few more holes in my U.S. Type Set.

1857 Braided Hair Half Cent, 1877-CC  Seated Liberty Dime, and a 1898 Barber Dime.

And to fill the four holes for U.S. Commemorative half dollars, I chose:

1925 Stone Mountain,  1935 Texas Independence Centennial, 1936 Battle of Gettysburg, and a 1936 Oregon Trail.

Love them had my first 2 silver Krugerands arrive this week, really nice coins close up and considering they are bullion I'm struggling to find much wrong with them. The gold ones are on my list.

I bought a collection of Roman coins from @Dakaras a few days ago. Sadly when he posted them there were 11 but when they arrived the envelope was wet through and four were missing. (We’d both like to know what happened to them).

@Dakaras amazingly sent me a right mix of his metal detecting finds as well as refunding part of the cost. He honestly didn’t need to do this and he knows that I’m truly grateful.

I love history and the musket ball is most likely lead, heavy and a true piece of history, as is it all.

I wonder if the piece of pipe could talk, the stories it’s heard.

I’ll share photos of the Roman coins, my original purchase, in the next few days but I’m truly humbled by @Dakaras offer to compensate for the lost coins.
