Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Those tubes full or empty?

Full ,I give up.

Empty,think you need help 🤣

Only one full tube, and I've always needed help!🤪

A monster box from Canada was£2 more with fixed postage, so I made the most of it and filled up my box with as much as I could

If those are full Greyhound tubes you can bring a lot of pleasure to this forum for the next 40 years

No greyhounds, allergic to dog hair! 🙄

My lcs would give me a free tube every time I completed one just to motivate me to fill that one...I ended up with 24 tunes filled then thought for a few seconds and sold them all, $40 each coin....just didn't feel the need to buy a monster box then watch it collect dust rather then sell and reinvest in other silver.

Got my first considerable chunk of gold yesterday. Nothing special, but I think I'm in love.

Maybe it's just due to reflection, but it seems like heavily polished coin, or...? Sorry for asking but was it sourced from a reliable seller? I am no expert on Krugs so I may be completely wrong, but something about the coin does not seem quite right to me. Could be just the photo or previous cleaning of the coin. But for example, letters A and F in AFRICA seem to be joined without any gap between them..? Or just my eyes are deceiving me...

I just assumed it was an ex-proof, but I did think it was very shiny also.

Other than the highly polished look( could be due to photography)

It does have a lot of the important markings, rings on the horn, detailed line across the springboks flank,

I like to buy the pre-dip dip
