I just got this roll of 20 Mexican silver 1960 10 pesos, uncirculated. Got them for a very good deal of $27.15 per coin.

I'm missing the 5 Pound Proof and 1/4 Sovereign Proof.  Also the other two commemorative SOTD's issued in 2017 but I guess these wern't 200th Anniversary Sovereigns (neither was the pictured 2017 India Sovereign but its a nice Sovereign!

I have duplicates in terms of the SOTD Sovereign, 2 Sovereign & Sovereign.

Agreed on the 2017 prices, they have hardened a great deal of late.  I'm sure you'll bag some of them in time.   

In my opinion, I think this year date out of all the Special Reverses (so far) is going to be the winner.  The 2012 in terms of its low mintage should be up there too but it's not everyone's cup of tea and the 1989 doesn't need my pump, it's a classic.  I think the 2005 is the dark horse as the mintage is much lower than all of them excepting the 2012.  Again, the 2005 isn't everyones favourite, but I admire the design, I think Timothy Noad did a marvelous job a lovely stylised take on Pistrucci's George & Dragon and the Reverse is reminiscent to me of the 1935 Rocking Horse Silver Crown, one of my favourite Silver coins.

Please don’t judge me too much and I hope this is in the right place, but here’s my silver collection (bar my 1g pamp gold bar what was my learning curve and got me on here) 

im only two weeks in and learning daily, I’m just eager to get a 1kg silver bar now in a week as I’ve scoped out the best seller of them

@arshimo2012 often has good deals on 1kg bars. Think you need premium membership to see his sub forum though.

Thanks mate funnily enough I stumbled upon him earlier and saw the beautiful bars he has weekly almost, so I plan to upgrade my membership this week and fingers crossed something pops up next Friday  
the 100g bars are nice but I crave the bigger stuff haha

n.490/500 - The amount of detail in this 2oz beaut is extremely mesmerising, but unfortunately my camera cant capture it that well! This will have to do.

I personally dont get much into collector pieces, not even sure this is numismatic. But I love it 😁

It appears there may be a few Gillick fans here so I thought I'd share this.

Gillick's effigy first appeared on coinage in the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth states in 1953.

 

To celebrate the four effigies of the Queen that have appeared on Canadian coinage since her coronation, the RCM produced a four coin, 4x9s quarter ounce Maple series kicking off with the Gillick in 2014.
