Nothing remarkable about these to many people, just personal to me and kids, as they were presents from their grandfather when we visited the Guernsey Mint.

Might be wrong but I believe they are Victor Hugo “doubles”. Wasn’t many years after the return from this trip, he left us but this visit stuck with them as they remember the gift, Bruce giving them a tour and letting them have a gold bar to hold, insisting they had their photos taken in his showroom.

So although they had birth coins and date runs (I’m now motivated to complete), this in their minds will be what they remember as the start of their stacking experience. For that reason alone, these two gifts will always be the most precious and priceless.
