Got this 5 ounce beauty this week - mintage 1.000. It'll go to @Numistacker for grading, hopefully a PF70 and then it goes to my retirement stack. Bought from @richatthecroft (tkx for letting me use your pics/ my cellphone camera is getting a bit old and I rather buy more coins than a new phone haha) In case anybody has one these gorgeous russian 5 oz'ers and you want to sell pls let me know. Always interested in getting my hands on more rarities.

Poker win again yesterday!
 

Got my hands on this beauty. 1889 Melbourne full Sovereign. Although not rare not many in this condition available at a few quid over spot. 

also added better photos of the toned half shield.

Also, making a land speed record from the UK to the US, courtesy of our very own TSF quintessential member and purveyor of quality coins, @fehk2001...A very fine 2016 Gold Sovereign Proof in PF 69, a special issue with obverse portrait by James Butler!

And adding to the bullion Sovereigns, a great quality 2020 Gold Sovereign, also courtesy of @fehk2001! He was gratuitous enough to have procured via H&B, thus alleviating me from costing H&B spending thousands of £ in mailing me their tons of coin porn advertisements! 😁

@fehk2001 also graciously sent me a nice addition of a 1988 China 5 Yuan and a neat NGC Slab condom!

Lastly, I blew the rest of my PM budget on a 1937 Edward VIII Gold Sovereign Proof (Replica)...yes, I am an idiot!😆

Just picked up 2002 CHINA 4th Issue Peking Opera 4pc 10 Yuan 1 ounce 999 silver coins. Shame no box, but at the price I paid for these interesting coins I wont complain.

Lucked out today on the hunt. picked this up for spot. 
Qajar Dynasty, Nasir al-Din Shah (1848-96), gold 1/5-Toman (2000-Dinars), 0.57g, Tehran. Similar coin sold in 2017 for £240.

It was good that I have waited for this Apollo commemorative US coin. Got it near issue price for a graded one. In real this curved 5oz silver coin looks great.

Not received today but a few buys from over the last few weeks. 

A Perth Mint sovereign dated 1899, so the first year they were producing sovereigns as a branch mint. A pick up from a coin fair about a week ago. 
 

Next a 1925 South African sovereign from @arshimo2012 bought a while back but only just arrived in Australia. At the same time received this lovely 1887 Sydney Mint sovereign, again bought this one from @arshimo2012

A nice 1906 Sydney half sovereign bought from Australian eBay. 
 

Finally a 1901 Melbourne sovereign bought from Australian eBay for spot. 
 

And for some reason my wife thinks my sovereign buying is getting out of control?

You are doing the right thing, central bankers are determined to make all currencies worthless, me personally I don't like it when gold and silver shoot right up like now, I like a steady appreciation and or severe dips to load up, silver looks like a steal at the moment . Probably a good rule of thumb is to have 50 ounces of silver to every ounce of gold just in case silver works out better than gold in the end. When the public wake up to what is going on gold will be too expensive for most people so that is when Silver should shine. We are few, us merry band of silver stackers. I try to educate friends and family, most (not all) look at me like i'm the lunatic whilst they save in sterling in the bank. Robert Kiyosaki's book was brilliant on this recently, "Fake" - a very good read if that's your thing, have fun.
