And not from silver stan (and i wont bother taking a photo) - got 100 more vacuum bags but much closer to slab size to avoid me messing around cutting to size  Now just need 100 slabs with coins to put in them....

I finally got around to picking up the delivery from BYB. All 3 classic pm's represented. The weight and size of the 100g bars kind of surprised me (in a positive sense)

I like the gold philharmoniker. The edge of the coin also surprised me, because of the pattern which has small smooth parts. Gives a nice effect when the light plays on it.

@Xander, wonderful find! Definitely a rarity with the 1871 Half Sovereign (Noting nose pointing to the “T” in legend) unrecorded Die 71 in Marsh. I found there was one other sold at auction in 2014...

It will seem like nothing to any of you guys but this is the first oz of silver I have ever bought and it came from someone on this forum @fiveshotdon. I said i would buy one oz just to hold it in my hand and see if it's something I would like to pursue. It came about an hour ago and I'm already turning into Golum from LOTR so I guess I'm about to start a very expensive habit.

Most likely fakes, made of real silver. Thought they were cool so saved them from the melting pot at a refiners. Smaller than a 5p coin 80% silver

Nice picture. That's what I said a few months ago when I bought the Tower Bridge coin. Haha, here I am now with ~100oz of silver (haven't looked at my spreadsheet recently) and over an ounce of gold woops!

1843 Narrow Shield - Exceedingly rare, an EF example of this coin commands approx. £25,000

For those who don't know this coin came about most likely from unspent pattern dies taken from storage. Nobody knows why this was done in 1843, and this pattern reverse is also different from the 1838 narrow shield.
