The quality really is high on these.  A shame they can't apply the same standards to the coins they make.  Having said this, I've never had any cause to return a coin due to scratches etc.

Well my lion Tudor beast proof arrived today. I was worried but to be fair both my coins have arrived in good shape. I must be one of the lucky ones. I tend to get my coins later than anyone else from the mint and that theory seems to have worked. Don't worry about the black dot on the shield is was on the outside of the capsule and since gone.

First bad coin I've ever had from the Royal Mint, capsule open, missing frosting on the letter and 'E' and top of its middle claw, and scratches on the coin! Yet another lion returning to its den! 😫

I watched it for weeks, trying to resist, as eBay or private purchases from UK to Europe are a mess since Brexit. But it was a bargain. The seller was great, so not much trouble with customs. It looks like you guys in the UK don't like a 69. I don't know why, what is so bad about a 69? I like to have a 69 Britannia. Would love to be the 69 Britannia king. I don't care about labels, but this one is nice. As long as it took, this Britannia design looks better and better to me. Already graded with box, etc. from the mint, a really nice Britannia label, exclusiv to a UK dealer (so not easy to find in Europe), and all this under RRP. Do you hear me Barry?
