Anyone noticed the matt finish is different from other matt SOTD?   

Left 2019 Matt SOTD right 2022 SOTD the finish is much brighter and has a satin peerlessness to the finish they look very nice.

I thought so, when I looked at it in the sun, it reflected off the coin and blinded me.

Mine has arrived, better late than never   

very nice - looks problem free - nice plain edge.  As Dave says above it is a nice satin/pearlesque like sheen to it  

One to keep hold of for the years to come

Sadly a poor quality one for me - scratches on reverse and large chunks of missing frosting on neck and rim. Back it goes!

Yeah can't see how they could offer replacements and save face tbh.

Unless they held some back for this purpose, which would beg the question....why not inspect the things before sending out?
