Received today, the 1931 Perth Mint sovereign that survived the great melt of 1931 and 1932.

There are a total of 10 George V ‘small’ head branch mint Sovereigns from 1929 - 1932.

This has a weak strike as is common for the later branch mints as they used less pressure when minting. This was done to prolong the life of the die’s sent from London.

I’m trying to put a collection of all 10 together, eight down, two to go. 😊

This will be sent for grading with the others.

Happy to come home to this tonight. The 2015 £50 BU Britannia. A slightly smaller, thicker version of the 2014 proof coin.

Nice coin, the card is OK, but why oh why Royal Mint do you not put a window on back so you can see the whole coin? Anyway what I can see of it looks OK and happy to add it to the pile!

This isn’t so much today I received, rather more today I found in the back garden.

Now.... I can’t wait to see how it grades, I’m hoping for an MS grade. 😂

I have absolutely no idea what coin it is and this is probably the worst thing that has appeared on this thread. 😆

If it was tested I think it would be 100% rust!!

It was indeed, i originally went there looking for best price sovereigns but they didn't have any, spotted this one in the 1oz section and just couldn't pass it up. Loved the design for ages but never found one i could reconcile price wise with the bullion stacker in me till then. I think i have a new crown jewel in the pension stack.

Brilliant! I love the buffalo design been waiting for one to come up at a reasonable premium so have the dealer alerts set I don't spend much time online though so keep missing them haha. Great coin mate!

some gold 1/2 grain cards from the USA with thanks to @Jamesd ill gift a couple to my nephew to hopefully give him the gold bug,

78 cards in a Tarot deck....so going to be a large series if they produce them all...But amazing if you get them all..
