The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

1989 Double Sovereign

Finally snapped one up at a reasonable price.  Certainly one of the most attractive designs ever put on a sovereign, or any coin for that matter.  Amazing that they weren't even particularly popular at the time.

Gorgeous coin!

And I bet people will be saying the same thing about the Memorial Sovereign in years to come.

Dear silver friends, it is always fascinating for me to hold old and new in my hands. Here, for example, it's 134 years. I love them both and wish you all a lovely weekend. Greetings from Maxe.

How beautiful the 1888 coin is. But so is the Una and the Lion coin. Do you know if this is a "Stempelbruch" at the Queen's ear? Or is it a piercing 😅

Wie schön die Münze von 1888 ist. Aber das gilt auch für die Una- und die Löwe-Münze. Wissen Sie, ob das ein „Stempelbruch“ am Ohr der Königin ist? Oder ist es ein Piercing  😅

Ha ha, that was a good one, no, it's a scratch on the capsule. Greetings from Maxe.

Nice, can see these becoming mad popular in the future - I notice HGM have a best value listing for these now as well.  None is stock right now but you can set up a stock alert
