To make up for yesterday's calamity, another 2005 Sovereign to add to the collection. A recent arrival was also this Royal Mint Sovereign box. Well made, nice finish and removable tray to store other bits should you need too. Thanks to @ilovesilverireallydo for the Sov 👍

To be honest this was a "mixed year item" that I half jokingly wrote on my order notes ( please send a good example 😆) 

Tavex sent a 2021 that looks like it was made last week, very impressed with the speed/quality and presentation.

Three more Crowns nearer to the target.  The Millennium Crowns are nuanced- one dated 1999 and the 2000 overlaid and highlights The British Isles in Gold plate.  Both with inscribed edges with the Shakespearean quote ‘What’s past is prologue’. The third Crown is the Diana memorial- another ugly looking issue, and unfortunately for me, in vogue right now and commanding a silly price tag currently.

Also a lovely 2022 Proof Half Sovereign bought on another group at a very reasonable price despite it being a 70 grade. 

And finally today I snook into town from work and found some interesting tat shop goodies- a Silver Victoria Diamond Jubilee medal and a Silver 1902 Edward VII Coronation medal, along with a George VI Coronation medal.

My favourite pick up today however, is the charming 1837 Victoria ‘To Hanover’ Copper token (known as a Cumberland Jack Token), bought for the princely some of £2.50.
