Today I Received.....

7th 1 oz Silver Proof in the Queens Beasts series arrived today, seven down three more to go. Joined his place with his cousins in @Alun stunning box.

I am back collecting.

I am building my 1887 collection again. And I bought a bunch of Britania's [not shown] and a few US coins.    

The Florin I will get graded. The Double Florin is cleaned. But I am looking for a Gothic Florin graded, if anyone has one.

Ahhh i see, only 7 so far, there is no rush for me to fill it, its more of a side quest, I know there is a few I will never get,

need to get one for my Peace dollars too

Have it in a lighthouse card flip atm but you can still see the beauty 1,438,000 mintage

Today I received a very special 1898 Sovereign. It’s special because at the start of the last century my Grandad and his school mates in Mid Wales were all gifted a Sovereign each by David Davies of Llandinam(still waiting for confirmation of which one as there were several in the same family).  

My rough maths work it out to be a weeks wage at the time! Can you imagine the local lord, lady or modern equivalent going on to the local primary and doing that now!?

I went back to Leicester to visit the family home this weekend and went to the only coin shop I could find. Picked up some US half dollars for the stack. My uncle had finished a book on our family tree, he traced us in England back to 1727.  This has now made me want to collect British coins on key dates for the family members.  I bought my first crown, one of many to come.

Postie delivered my 6th order from GS.be my last haul of Silver before Brexit just adding to existing collections/adding some interesting new coins. Total 56 coins this final haul takes me to just over 2,000 oz Silver.

Received the 1oz silver proof White Lion of Mortimer yesterday. Beautiful coin. Was sent this by fellow YouTuber Gold Digger Dave as part of our monthly mystery coin swap. I sent him the Perth Mint 1oz silver proof rectangle Dragon coin.

Yesterday I also received two coins from the RM. This is the new silver proof Piedfort with the privy mark. Mintage 1969.

Got these attractive silver French Francs in auctions over the past week or so, they are identical in size and silver content (835) as the Swiss Francs from the same period (not the 5 franc coin which is 2g smaller).

 I don't normaly go for this kind of medalion,but it had this kind of art nouveau look to the young queens side of coin,and I like this one.condition it very good compared to most that I have seen and for £12.50 I paid for it.im not likely to make any money,but it was bought as a keeper.
