I’m thinking of getting the 2ozt silver graded…My fear though is black spots appearing once they have been slabbed.

I think this is what happened to a lot of the Three graces coin.

Is it wise to grade new released Silver coins?🤔

Is it for you or to be sold on ? If it is for you, don’t grade. If you think you might want to sell on, grade. That’s my take anyway fwiw. Best of luck whatever you decide.

@Yorkshiremanc I’m seeing only what I can describe as a greasy residue on some proof coins, If it’s that it can be removed easily with out damage.  If you are sending this back please I would not send scathing emails to the head of the RM like others have done. Just my opinion.

Although I'm neither a buyer on the secondary market or a seller I am keeping a keen eye on what sales of these do and just how much being part of a two coin set will affect values. So far I've seen one listed on Facebook for £750. Seems low and would be tempting for anyone that missed out I am sure though does the potential for extra stress come March put people off? How many people will be doing a quick flip and how many will be holding until they get the second coin then flipping as a set?

Normally things follow a pretty standard path value wise but there is a lot to consider here and it will be interesting to see how it all affects the value of these coins.
