Royal Mint - Great Engravers 2021 - Gothic Crown information

Yes @SilverMike. The Gazette entries usually club the reverse descriptions when the coins are of the same series.  They’ve done this for the new Tudor Beasts Gazette entry too - where the reverse description states “Seymour Panther” or “Lion of England”.

I can’t see the RM selling these as individual coins, because it would be so weird for people to end up with half a set of a denomination.

In which case these 2 coin sets are going to cost a crazy amount. 😵💫

The question is if they will be sold as a set or separately

I'd go with a mix of sets and seperate.  Covers the market better, sets only would make them expensive. I'd also expect a higher mintage as its effectively two seperate issues.

Which one do you intend getting? The one with the Gothic portrait or the quartered shield?

Oh never realised it was two designs. Never had much of a read yet.  Looks like i will have to pawn the mother in law's heart medication to buy both
