I'm finding it hard to consider anything a deal at the moment, even if it were at spot!

I know the feeling. Although its broken out I still feel it can easily dip back to £320 a SOV. ;)
The miners are a better investment IMO assuming the internet/stockmarket does not go down.

I think the increase in the price of gold has encouraged the Royal Mint to rummage around the darker corners of their vault, as the following 2020 bullion coins have magically come back into stock:

The Queen's Beasts 2020 White Horse Gold 1oz Bullion Coin

The Queen's Beasts 2020 The Lion of Mortimer 1 oz Gold Bullion Coin

These beast coins do seem to randomly pop up on their site, I would definitely have these if spot was a bit lower. Shame they hadn't found any dragons

Hi,

Can anyone vouch for Sharps Pixley Bullion dealer? Legit?

Yes.

Almost as good as @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer

😎

If in doubt about almost any UK company, just look them up on Companies House, for example:

https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/06629106

This is not 100% certain, but will often help.

BullionByPost has 20% off on 2019 Proof Sovereign boxed. That looks like a great deal for a modern proof sovereign...not a lot more than bullion sovereigns.

£438.20

Price £310.40

Gold @ Spot for £48.50/g

Coin has 5.8g pure gold content, or 5.8g * £48.5 = £281.30 worth of gold.

To find the premium over spot you do: ( £310.40 / £281.30 ) - 1 = 0.1034, or 10.34% premium over spot :)

Thank u. Very useful

Having a look around, I think this is currently the cheapest price for a 2022 sovereign

Bought of these a couple of weeks ago, no issues and delivered very quickly - they do charge $5 for delivery at checkout

Yeah on certain items, they are new to the UK, so trying to make a name/place in the market for themselves. Have been going in Europe a fair while.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

It just depends what you're buying and the timing, stock levels etc. They have had some really good prices on various items at different times over the past few months.
