  1. sovs or britts (depending on the budget) on the dips make sense to me going forward. Gold mining stocks are the best investment for leverage on gold IMO unless its a battlefield situation or things suddenly get very bad. Thats when a box of SOV's & a few tubes of Brits will keep you alive.
  2. On a more jovial note - having a few KG bars of silver is something special to hold. My 10 ounce queens beasts are a real treasure in thier presentation box. If they become worthless then they are still just as special to me.
  3. I view silver now as a trading vehicle rather than a buy and hold item. Buy low (at what ever rate it gets too) sell high (usually a guess). The one thing i have seen is it gets pumped up but does not last long. It could break out and go to the moon, but also it could just reach higher lows over time - which it has done. Anyone that bought at £10 an ounce is not doing badly, but inflation/living costs should be taken into consideration. Someone that bought and then sold at approximately the right time (over and over) is laughing. Doing this and buying gold or other investments with the money makes sense to me. For now anyway until im proved otherwise. GDXJ is not a bad shout though as it has a lot of silver miners. & a low risk if bought under $30. Copper & uranium make a better speculation if you ask me - especially the Sprott ETF.
  4. is this an in-joke now? I still think it can and might tank given the right circumstances. £15.27 ideally LOL. Gold - dont think so (unless Klaus Swabb washes up on a beach anytime soon).
  5. Its all manipulated & if one sector goes through the roof then the other goes down etc. Silver also is an industrial metal so will suffer if we hit a recession/depression or major economic shiite storm. As we saw in 2021 - if enough people decide to buy or sell it can make it move - regardless of what miners are doing. Its idiots on smartphones following wall street bets or maybe hedge funds. One things for sure banks have been buying record amounts of gold, which points towards them hedging for some reason. They have not (as far as I am aware) been buying record amounts of silver. It was options expiry on the 22nd that caused this dip in price I would say? Dont know if thats been discussed on here or not as im taking a bit of a break from it all.
  6. I always sell my mining stocks too soon, but i offloaded a load of physical silver last week. Happy with that. Starting to wonder if we will see sub £15 again now??

  15. Felling glad i reluctantly bought a krugerrand for £1650 2 months back as the seller needed quick cash!!
  16. Sure I have already been cited in this thread but it aint looking like it will pull back any time soon, so I was dead wrong there. I have a sizeable palladium position so glad actually as i want to get out of that. Im not in the country and wanted too sell some silver so hopefully it carries on up into next week £24 range LOL..
  17. Think so but the markets are mad!! Must be banks buying today I think?? Thanks. I dont risk much on it all - so its not a lot, but I like to get out earlier than try and call tops. 17-18% profit is good enough for me (on this occasion). I am a risk adverse trader LOL. Its long term learning for me & more of a hobby to be honest. By the time I am 70 I will be Warren Buffet!! 😛
  18. Kind of as I sold a a few ounces in march last year in the banking crisis. Yeah I called that top badly! I did sell a number of coins at decent profit. One was a veiente Peso I bought for £750 I think! However - I put that into mining stocks, gold & silver ETF's which have done good. Sold them all now. I will exit my palladium at 0% as its still currently -5% if it moves up, but happy to hold that as its so undervalued IMO. I put a lot more into tech stock shorts not realising the effect of the banking bail outs. This looks like its coming back in now after 9 months of nail biting as they are all x3 leverage!! I have also bought back the same amount of gold on the dips. I dont hold a lot of physical gold at any time as I dont have a lot of money. I have a wheel barrow of silver I will sell like a shot if it blows up suddenly.
  19. I drew a very rough line earlier this week and its hit it near enough to the penny today. I sold everything 2 days ago - should have had confidence in myself. I know a lot of people laugh at charting on here - but that was spot on Im betting on a lot of profit taking here & a big WONGA sized pull back on Monday.
  20. LOL. if you hover out its gone up in a straight ish line hasn't it!! I still think we might see a decent 5-10 year low again at some point in the next 30 years LOL. Just depends if the world economic forum get thier way or not. just needs bitcoin or something to really take off & like Dr Dre & also gold in the early 2000's they will be forgotten again. I think it would be a big mistake not to take advantage of that. I guess £1250 would be a decent BIG low now.
