Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Just back from the Midland Coin Fair, and nice to see @1stsovereign. Collected my shield backs (which I had ordered the day before). My Christmas treat!

Yes, only 9999 is GST exempt. I'm heading to your home town for work today!

See if Costa's Souvlaki Bar or the Cultured Cow still exist after the quake if you're in the CBD for lunch.  If you're out by the university there used to be a decent ethno takeaway place called Nomad's and a chinese restaurant called the Foo San.  No idea if any of them are still there, though.

The Sovereign is the quintessentially British coin.  It has a German queen on the front, an Italian waiter on the back, and half of them were made in Australia.

I wouldn't have been very happy, driving all that way to discover he'd stuck your sovs to a Christmas pudding! I bet they were in a right mess.

That was a bargain. But I was not the shooter.

Indeed it was, there was very little activity in the last 10 minutes, I probably should have upped it, set my max to 385, and prior to the snipe I think I was at 370, was getting giddy over a bargain. İf they came in a few seconds earlier I'd have probably upped it.

And now you get to spend your life thinking about what could have been.

Don't let it eat you up pal. Move on.

Buy high. Sell low.

Yeah I won't, I wouldn't have kept it, just taken pictures, sold it for around £410 on here, but after how long it took me to sell the EIC coins, the low spread had me feeling nervous haha
