Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Central bankers are politicians disguised as economists or bankers. They’re either incompetent or liars. So, either way, you’re never going to get a valid answer.” - Peter Schiff

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.

My QE II commemorative 50p arrived this morning. Ordered from the Koin Klub on release day, never used them before, but must say I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I know it will likely end up being literally one in a million, and will only recoup its value when silver actually gets to 'da moon!', but its a very pretty coin and Martin Jennings' portrait is excellent.

Can't wait for my sovereign now...20221210_094457.thumb.jpg.85151f07e9662c65dd42b0bd89733bc8.jpg20221210_094331.thumb.jpg.dc48ecde0c2ea33007ca5e12ce9930e6.jpg20221210_094240.thumb.jpg.91004c83b13f90c3d0ebd5a8905ffa17.jpg

At least they have got the profile of Charles right with that large ear :D

We had the warning in 2006-9 but central banks ignored it and just added new worthless debt to existing worthless debt to create worthless debt squared – an obvious recipe for disaster. - Egon von Greyerz

I still don't own a 1989 sovereign, but this is the closest I've got.

Amazing. Beautiful coin, I never took it fully out the capsule, always just a peek, was too worried I'd smudge it!

No good can come from showing a partner your precious metals purchases. Open it in secret, and build your stash in the garden shed. ;)

Luckily another pair of shoes turned up today (to go with her other 50 pairs) so she couldnt really pass comment 😄
