Lovely coins.  The shot of the elephant is especially good, with a little shadow bringing out the surface texture and relief.

Thank you.  On coins with a polished background or device, I think it's good to have some variation in the light, so I moved it around until the light was just falling off at the edge.

The Sovereign is the quintessentially British coin.  It has a German queen on the front, an Italian waiter on the back, and half of them were made in Australia.

Beautiful coins. I have discovered the Spanish coins and got the Lynx, the Bull in 1/10 oz, and also ordered the Horse in 1oz. If I am able to find a good deal for the Lynx in 1oz, I'll grab it too. The elephant is also gorgeous...I am considering the 1/10oz as a very liquid investment and even with higher premium, this is not a problem as I get it back when selling, even to some dealers who pay a premium for these coins. If the spot will rise (and I think it will), the 1/10oz and the 1/4oz sizes  will be the sweet spot and could become very sought after

I might get the bull at some point.  There are a few tenth coins knocking around that I want to get pics of.  The bull, maybe a proof krug if I can find it, and a maple - plus any number of previous year coins from Perth Mint if I can find them.  I think this will be an ongoing project of buying one or two here and there and taking pics of them.

Thank You for the info, I've noticed so many gold kroner/krona coins from late nineteenth early twentieth century from Norway, Sweden, Netherlands Denmark and so on with fantastic portraits and as a major bonus many have superb shieldback designs. It's a whole new rabbit hole for me but I must resist... I tell you... I must resist...  the prices look good... No I must resist!

Quite right - those shiny little suckers are difficult to focus!  Try Nitrous Oxide instead of oxygen. At least you’ll have a laugh!

This was my best attempt…..😁
