  1. According to NGC There are 214 PF70 481 PF69 68 PF68 17 PF67 and fewer below
  2. I am not sure that doing a set of 2 coins each year would be the wise for the RM (and expensive for collectors), especially in those incertain times, with a weak demand for modern coins. The WW St George and the dragon would be obvious to me (because I love it ). The question is if the RM would change their mind releasing another WW design after the GC
  3. I love the RP Libertads and I'd think that a RP Sovereign would be gorgeous !
  4. I don't remember there has been a bullion Quintuple Sovereign ever
  5. It's remind me all these discussions about the sooo expensive Una Good times 🙂
  6. They did not offer it on the website but they offered preorders to their customers who registered their interest, raw or slabbed, a few weeks ago
  7. I ordered the £5 BU graded MS70 from The Coin Connection for around £130 on top of the RRP. I think this is an interesting bet as this is the only Matte special 5 Sovereign to date with a relatively low mintage (and probably the only one that'll exist during QE reign) , With the 5 coins proof set, the SOTD Sovereign, The 5 Coin Pattern Piedfort Set, this £5 BU ends up beautifully my 2022 Sovereign collection (except the Piedfort I did not buy)
  8. Very chunky and heavy ! I got my set back from grading and I have 1 PF 69 and 4 PF70, unfortunately, the PF69 is the master coin. The £5 is in a thick slab, so we can't see the thickness. Other coins are in a standard slab, and we can admire the plain edge thickness, even the quarter piedfort is nice to see and far from being ridiculous. I'll post pictures later
  9. I hope this is not the real picture of the upcoming coin, with differences vs the Piedfort Pattern Sovereign coming with the 5 coin set (mintage 70) (such as reeded edge instead of plain edge...) ...it would be really disappointing if the Pattern scarcity is diluted
  10. Hello, Stunning, where did you buy it ?
  11. Hello, I am looking for this set. Please PM me if you sell
  12. Yes, this is a big sacrifice. But I prefered to sell other things and reposition myself as I did not want to miss this opportunity for a set that could be symbolic and historical in the years to come. This will be a nice heritage to own for the future and it'll be the icing on the cake if it comes back graded PF70
  13. I have cancelled both of my GC kilo orders...probably a fantastic coin in hand but I have located a 2022 Sovereign 5 coin Piedfort Pattern set and I made the choice....Maybe these Piedfort Sovereign will come back graded before the GC Kilo are dispatched !
  14. Great, I got it I Now, how do you create the bookmarklet to display these values for any pages ?
  15. Thanks, but I am probably bad with that. Could you make a tuto ? I can have the source code by right clicking on the page , but I don't know how to use it (there is no seach field to find the requested datas)
  16. As @Paulo did mention, this was a Plain Edge, it would have just been ok for a PF70 milled edge, but a disapointing price for a PF70 Plain Edge IMHO. There was also a Sovereign 2022 5 coin set with a PF69 5 Sov, (other coins PF70) sold at £6500... I don't know if this is a new underlying trend, but the market for modern collectible coins seems soft and seeks itself, maybe with uncertainty and a rising price of gold that makes liquidity (bullion coins) more sought after. The problem could also come from too many releases leading to market saturation (that's just my feeling and other opinions are welcome)
  17. Just to add that the mintage of these SP Krugerrand 2017 has been lowered from 1 million to 600000
  18. I have ordered this coin, I'll post pictures once I get it
  19. Tchad Three Dragon 3oz (gilded silver) high relief
  20. Yes very strange. This coin is not sold out yet, but if I recall correctly, the 2014 was not sold out quickly, and I don't even mention the "not sold out" Sovereign 1989 at that time...Nevertheless, this design is growing in me and I took the plunge for the 1,2 and 5oz silver. I have also secured a 6 coin gold set. With all these different releases this year, there has been a lot of investment and effort involved , and I have decided to arbitrate some assets out of the banking system for these tangible assets. Anyway, I prefer to secure the coins and cancel them eventually later. The RM is long to ship ( I don't even have my GC silver kilo !). I'll receive the 1 oz silver shortly and will see how I "feel" the coin in hand, so plenty of time ahead to confirm or change my mind. The 2oz is certainly a masterpiece thanks to @LawrenceChardfor the pictures, maybe we will be lucky to have an unboxing video of this coin ?
