The trade section certainly relies on trust in the two parties engaged in the transaction. Trust to send a stranger money and trust that that stranger will send the coin. Then further trust that it will be recieved without issue and acceptance that the transaction is then complete.

Does anyone have an idea when the bullion version of this beast out?

Aussie gold hunters was a much better programme. What I thought might be a UK version failed to meet my expectations and was more about the local people than the search for gold.

I have to agree, the milk spotting, high premium and of course the tax forced me out of silver. 

Don't buy bars if you're an invester for weight and wanting to sell later on. Although there are some nice ones out there i would just stick with UK denominated Sovs or Brits.

Im out of the silver stacking business and only stacking gold. Its the future...!!

Not sure platinum has a real role for stacking either.

I would only buy coins that are actually 'in stock'. As newbie avoid those that say 'orderable'. Clearly you've been looking at Chards but they do charge delivery so that increases your overall costs. There are better priced dealers out there with free postage. Sharps pixley looks good at the moment but do your own research.

I also placed an order and guess what the website crashed at payment. The payment has appeared on my credit card and has cleared. On my H&B account it says complete so I am expecting the Sovereign to be delivered. I certainly can't be bothered ringing them and then being pitched too to how fabulous their proofs are.

Harrington & Byrne now doing their gold sovereign for £329. Doesn't seem like that good of a deal considering gold has dropped so much but these would have been snapped up a month ago.

And there's some still up for sale here with higher prices than most dealers. 

Dealers have been forced to lower their prices, private sellers have not and want top dollar
