Just seen this report on the FT - https://www.ft.com/content/8be82981-9002-43fd-a324-e9d11fe4a93d The UK will on Friday offer Australia a tariff-free, quota-free trade deal If this goes ahead, seems like there would be an opportunity for us all to get out silver VAT free again? Tax on Gold/Silver in Australia: Gold bars or coins 0.995 or more fine and silver bars or coins 0.999 or more fine are deemed to be ‘investment grade’ and are exempt from GST. What does everyone think?
