Our understanding is that the Double Memorial Sovereign will not available wholesale from the Royal Mint. We could well get some pre-owned ones coming in and can let you know if we do. Thanks.

Three (technically six) tiny Pandas in OMP, this morning courtesy of @BleyerBullion. They had three left in stock, and with their multibuy offer, I couldn't resist. Along with the Kangaroos, I think I'll get these annually.
Great deal and swift despatch, thanks to the Bleyer team down in Devon! Any marks/dust is on plastic, coins seem perfect to me. A happy customer indeed!
And a nice little personalised note from Lisa on the invoice. Small things👍.
We're very happy you like our service and love the coins. We look forward to hearing from you next time you need something. Have a nice evening, Caroline

Hi,
We've had enquiries from a lot of new investors and it is sometimes difficult to give everyone the help that they need so we've designed a workshop to cover some key topics we think will be useful so I hope the mods don't mind me posting this here too.
This covers the basics and questions I think investors should ask themselves when considering precious metals for investment purposes. Please take a look and feel free to share with anyone you think would benefit - maybe see you then.

Morning everyone, just a quick question, this seems an appropriate place rather than create a new thread.
Is it just me, or are the 1/4 Oz Au Tudor Lions hard to find on ostensibly UK bullion sites, other than the Royal Mint?
Chards-coming soon, @LawrenceChard, @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer?
Bleyer- available to pre-order to be fair, @BleyerBullion?
BBP and Atkinson's and UK Bullion, no mention,
Nor Tavex (yet!?!) @TavexBullion
Coininvest have them cheap but I can't risk shipping issues with UPS again.
Is this a distribution ploy by the RM to maintain a sort of monopoly, they seem to have applied a premium above more generic 1/4s already??
Part of me is thinking maybe forget the beasts in Au as getting 3 of each twice a year at a premium may be a stretch if spot increases again, and instead, focus on a world collection of 1/4s and/ or 5g bars as there generally wouldn't be any timeframe.
Also, are the Queen's Beasts, (and probably the Tudor Beasts going forward...) a bit niche in the resale market on the forum?? I've noticed that good old Brits, Sovs, Krugs and Maples and smaller bars seem to sell quite quickly in the forum but the beasts seem to hang around longer. Could be pricing issues but it seems so to me🤷.
Is there something to be said for the more generic stuff that might not bring a premium?
Back to original question, I came across Bitgild in my search, a Dutch dealer, who are about 16 quid per 1/4 coin cheaper than the RM. Has anyone heard of them/used them? Screenshot encl.
A couple of points for discussion, hopefully one or two of the dealers as well as the main protagonists could shed some light on the issues raised?
Hello
We have a delivery of the 2oz Silver & 1oz Gold Tudor Beasts coins arriving Monday, so they are available to purchase now and will hopefully be with you next week.
Have a good weekend.

hi caroline
1) i spoke to barclays that same evening when you were supposed to have processed my refund . YOU DIDN'T process my refund when you said you did. i phoned barclays and checked(i understand that i would not see it on the barclays app for 3 days, but barclays technical support can see if a payment is pending, it was not, hence i asked to be connected to the fraud team). if i'm lying you have permission to the post a copy of the transaction on this thred.
2) lots of people have suggested that i didnt check if the coins were in stock. i did check
3) i paid in full for the coins, you had the money. in your reply you stated "You ordered 2021 coins and 2022 coins. Our database was out" SO REALLY YOU DIDNT HAVE THE COINS
you took my money for something that you couldnt delvier, and now i have to wait for a refund that you have not processed, while the price is going up.( thanks bleyerbullion your great)
UNDERSTAND caroline and her fan-boi's
all of the phone calls between myself and bleyer were recorded, my phone call with barclays was recorded, i obviously still have the email's. if anyone wants to suggest i'm a liar or a troll, i can back up anything i have said.
Hi Gary
1. The attached screenshot shows both transactions. Money does not get credited at the same time that we credit it back to the card, as we clearly explained to you. It is batched that evening, payments and refunds are then processed overnight. I do not know if Barclays could have seen it or not at that time.
2. and 3. We identified an issue and offered a remedy that would have saved you money. You chose to decline our fair offer, we were surprised as it seemed like a crazy thing to do just to make a point.
For the sake of anyone looking at this, the time delay between you placing the order and the time of the rebate are due to the time that passed from when we requested your ID etc. The refund was made immediately upon request.
I am pleased that on platforms like this we are still all free to voice our views. We have both been able to put our sides to this story and prospective customers have learned how we handle a dispute.
This public discourse was totally unnecessary, since we had already addressed your complaint. I see no point in drawing this out any further and wish you happier transactions in the future.

Is there much demand for these bars? I can find out but we haven't had much call for the James Bond series so far. Please contact us directly sales@bleyer.co.uk and we can look into it for you.

Hi Everyone
Thank you all for the lovely things you have said about our team at Bleyer and kind words of support, even from Lawrence at Chards.
Things are very difficult at the moment for everyone. People have been set against one another and bent a bit out of shape - whether about Brexit, Covid, Ukraine or something else.
We recognise this and try to combat it by showing compassion, rather than getting angry as that doesn't help anyone.
I think it helps to think of us as all being on the same team.
I hope you all have a wonderful day, I have a bit of Devon sunshine here to put a smile on my face as well as knowing that many of you have our backs.
Thank you again.

3 hours ago, LawrenceChard said:Bleyer Bullion happen to be a competitor of ours, but I have only ever heard positive stuff about them, similar to the responses you can already see on here.
Being slightly pedantic, seeing any post using all lower case in its title always prejudices me a little, even before I get to read the rest of it. I guess you posted it from your mobile phone.
I find it difficult to believe that Bleyer Bullion totally screwed you over (cue music:
Your post is very short on hard facts and evidence.
If you had stated exactly what you bought, with the time and date, you may be more credible.
You already seem to admit you did not check your e-mails at the time. A copy of their e-mail to you would help, as would a screenshot of their offer at the time, now, and a link to their product page.
It is not fraudulent to offer to sell things when you are awaiting stock of them. If it was, then the whole of the Royal Mint would be on death row by now!
It is quite common for consumers with a grievance or complaint to tell only half a story, and to omit key facts.
Try telling the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, and you may get some credence (not another song cue) here.
Would it have been too much to expect you to tag @BleyerBullion in to your post, so they would be aware of it, and be able to seet the record straight.
I notice you do not use your actual real name, unless actually it is "garyg". While there can be valid reaons for using a pseudonym, it is far too easy for trolls and cowards to operate on social media forums under the convenient cloak of anonymity.
😎
Hi Lawrence
Thank you very much for your kind words of support.

Hi Gary
I see I am a bit late to the party here as I've been tied up in meetings all morning. I really do not understand why you felt the need to air something that I thought we had already addressed to your complete satisfaction.
Since this is in the public domain I am respecting your privacy, but here are the facts to put the record straight. I am very proud of my wonderful team who bend over backwards to help people all they can, it is a shame when this is not appreciated.
You have purchased several times from us and due to the amount of money spent overall, we requested standard compliance information. The fact that we have these procedures, keeps our bank and our merchant terminal provider happy. We do not pass this data onto anyone and this was clearly explained to you in a long email from me personally. Bullion dealers are routinely targeted by fraudsters using innocent people's money to buy bullion that can be easily turned into cash, our request to you was strictly standard practice - nothing more than that.
This was your tenth order over a period of almost 7 years so yes, since you seemed so upset about being asked for ID and your orders are not of enormous value, I felt it reasonably safe to make a small exception in this case. You ordered 2021 coins and 2022 coins. Our database was out, so there were no 2021 coins available but I did have 2022 coins coming in.
In addition to waiving the ID request, I offered you a discount of £43.46 or a refund for the 2021 coins.
You were not happy with this offer and requested a refund. My sales team processed the refund immediately and advised that it may not show up immediately on your account.
I am interested to know what else we could possibly have done to please you?
I hope that whatever pain you are in will pass soon.
Best wishes
Caroline

Hi Everyone
Thanks to @stefffana for raising this interesting topic on the subject of ethics.
As a few people have mentioned, we had a technical issue on our site that meant that the 2022 Sovereign was sold unintentionally at below cost prices. Many people spotted this and benefitted from the error, costing us a couple of thousand pounds or more. As has been mentioned, we could have cancelled the orders (as per our Ts and Cs), but as an act of goodwill, decided that more could be gained from taking a hit, rather than upsetting several good customers and some newbies we hope to retain. I can assure you that as owner of the business, I absorbed the full loss and whenever there is an error that costs us money, I pay the price personally. Sorry to the people who approached us the following week, wanting us to sell more to them at the old wrong price, sadly my generosity could not extend that far.
For those who set out to comb sites for underpriced products, we do have to deal with this on a case by case basis, but will always err on the side of the customer whenever we can.
Regarding ethics generally, we do some good by commissioning charity bars and rounds from @BackyardBullion who have made some beautiful Owl bars and the Unity Rounds which we sold to raise money for metal health charities. Bullion companies have benefitted from additional interest
I also like the idea of the Valcambi green, ethical bars and plan to stock them when supplies become a bit more stable. We sell a lot of Baird bars too, materials for which are also ethically sourced but they don't shout about it. Their bars are made from recycled metals taken largely from the jewellery industry.
Have a great week everyone!

Just to confirm, we have triple checked this afternoon. The Royal Mint have confirmed they are releasing bullion 1oz and 1/4oz gold, 2oz and 10oz silver coins.
As per the initial release of the Queen's Beast Series, the Tudor Beast Series "Commemorative" launch is different to the bullion launch.
Commemorative have launched with the Seymour Panther proof. This will be launched as a later bullion coin.
The Lion Of England will sit proudly as the 1st in the bullion collection.

Sorry but the Royal mint didn't give us a reason. They just said not available via wholesale.
