Also for the 5oz silver NGC census so far there is definitely something with the quality of these coins:

67: 1

68: 0

69: 5

70: 8

Over 50% in PF70 “perfect” coins 🤷‍♂️

Brill...I'd stick with and always have bought  sovreigns...instead of being caught up in new inferior releases in mainly poor condition you can never go wrong with Gold sovs. I realise the appeal of all these new releases of QA's and Portaits..I only mention them as they are the most recent releases..but when you read the threads on here....still waiting for coins... members have purchased last year..then receiving their coins with dents, scratches, frosting missing, loose capsuals that have possibly damaged their coins..boxes in terrible condition as so on...not to mention queues, missing out on these releases...is it really worth the hassle of continously returning inferior coins..waiting months for their delivery when other coins are being released and delivered before the coins they purchased havnt arrived..I could go on....and on....its a COMPLETE FAILURE on the RM'S part..But saying that so many members who i wont mention....still defend them and compare them to sliced bread...(If you know what im referring too)..but don't take my word for it...the evidence is in the threads, complaints, frustration at not receiving their coins that they paid for 3,4 months ago...UNBELIEVABLE!!! All I'm saying is....spend your money on Gold Sovs from any century..you will get a coin without outrageous premiums...and will not have the Sky-high stress waiting for these high premium new released silver coins and Gold, not so much of a premium on Gold..but hard to buy on the day of release....its just my opinion and take it with a pinch of salt...but now....I only buy Gold...Silver proofs are too much of a gamble and you just don't know what condition your coin is going to arrive in...50/50 and I'm being Conservative that it's going to be 'PROOF'...no dents, scratches, spotting, loose capsuals and damaged boxes.......'You do the math'....

🙂🙂🙂

P.s...I realy dont understand a certain well know member that must be in bed with the RM.....it doesn't matter what condition his coins arrive in...he will never say anything bad..or should I say..not so bad and always understands the pressure the RM are under and forgives there incompetence every time he receives an inferior minted release!!!that he hardly has a bad word to say against them.....?

1. It's the fact he has an account manager and doesn't want to P**s him off because he wants to stay on his account managers good side for future pre sales info......or he lives on a different Planet and is scared to tell the truth and how he feels..just hiding away in a corner and receiving first dobs on new releases..

Again just my opinion..I have no proof...but I go with my gut feeling...and information I receive from others who think the same as me......🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Are you using Morse code? why so many .'s?

Does this look better in silver than in gold?

?

Haven't seen them both in person and difficult to judge from a photo, but the frosting on the Three Graces Silver was stunning and even better in some ways than the gold.

My portrait was returned also today after mulling it all over. Will see what happens but RM is a pure lottery at times.

That is my biggest worry…I was pondering upon this for a week…I will be really pissed off if they return a coin in a worse condition…if that happens it would mean that RM is run by totally incompetent customer and quality service…

I am still waiting for 2oz, 5oz and 10oz silver.

Just called them. Apparently the 2oz are "in stock" the 5oz will be in a week or so, and the 10oz around the beginning of March (4th I think he said).

My order was again marked to be dispatched at the same time. They have changed that so I will get them individually.

Not looking forward to the 2oz, presumably there will be some returns lying around somewhere

As they suggested my 2oz is due tomorrow. I can't take delivery tomorrow, and don't trust Royal Mail not to leave it on the doorstep, so they should deliver on Friday.

Looking forward to it and dreading it, in equal measure.

Well..it comes back to what has been advertised by RM, at what price and what you get. I'm happy to take the risk when I know that is the deal from the beginning.  RM didn't say, 'take your chance to get a semi-proof 2oz silver' for 50£"

If that was advertised as bullion, silver 2oz then I'm ok, but it was advertised as a proof with the relevant price tag...in that case, if the product is not really 'proof' then we have the right to ask for proof quality

Here comes the catch...what is 'proof' and how we define it...but for me, a 'proof' should be a flawless coin, with the highest possible finish.

Sorry, Sam but it is not about money and risk and choices...it is about what is offered and what is received....

Got my portrait crown today.  Absolutely beautiful, and it looks great to me.  I had little doubt since I bought it from a dealer.  I believe they do look these over prior to shipping them.  The capsule was intact and perfectly embedded in the case.  The coin was nicely shipped in protective packaging.  Of course, I had to pay more than the RRP, but sometimes the peace of mind of not having to deal with the RM may be worth it.
