The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. Maybe it's just due to reflection, but it seems like heavily polished coin, or...? Sorry for asking but was it sourced from a reliable seller? I am no expert on Krugs so I may be completely wrong, but something about the coin does not seem quite right to me. Could be just the photo or previous cleaning of the coin. But for example, letters A and F in AFRICA seem to be joined without any gap between them..? Or just my eyes are deceiving me...

Thanks for the concern. However I am very confident these is genuine, it weighs and measures exactly how it should and I bought this from a very trusted Jeweller that I have dealt with for the best part of 10 years. I bought this as bullion so was expecting this to be not perfect, I class it as a posh chunk of gold😀

The photography is deceiving. It's done on a phone and post processing of this image is out of my control, I will blame the jpeg standard for that!

@James32 thanks for the further assurance on the authenticity of this coin. I have learnt something today!

That's interesting! Is stacking 90% US silver common in the UK/Europe? They go nuts for it over here, its a big deal for the US stackers :). So much so that it's usually not worth buying bc they drive the price up too much lol

yeh they are great to stack. Nearly all come from my USA supplier and alot cheaper than uk.  although I did get a price match from a forum member last week for 50. so all in all a great coin to stack. very liquid

Well I guess I just found something to sell on here if I ever get the urge to sell rather than only buy, hahaha. I've piled up lots of the US90% and CAN80% over the years. Never imagined anyone would have an interest in those coins outside of American survivalists 😄😄😄. I usually grab some when interest in silver falls off and you can pick it up for melt

A cheeky 2022 Philharmonic arrived this morning, as an 18th present for my eldest daughter (in September! 🤣), courtesy of Tavex.

My first purchase from them and to be honest they seem to have nailed the customer experience. Great prices and the presentation box was impeccable with a little compliment slip with my name on, small things but they certainly stand out for it.

Also thanks to @ArgentSmith for 3 of his Chronos to add to the kids stacks. Came vacuum packed, thinking to just leave them like that, but even so, you can see they are beautiful coins👍.

Have a good day guys!

100% agree with the customer service from Tavex. I've made several purchases and each one they have been on it. Kept me up to date and as you say the presentation on delivery is impressive.

I even had a gent from Tavex ring me up 2 mins after my order went through to confirm payment received and that they were putting the package together. All this was lunchtime yesterday, and it arrived this morning. Quicker than one of @HerefordBullyuns and/or your greyhounds!!🤷

:D indeed, although to be fair to @HerefordBullyun I think he risked life and limb getting out in the rain!
