Central banks buy gold, JP Morgan buys silver - both never lose so I am holding until I can trade my pm for real estate (a farm that is) or until retirement. Yesterday JPM announced their latest quarterly earnings, a $5.5 million record. These guys know what they are doing and they keep buying physical silver :)

Not received today, but all within the last 4 weeks. Thanks to @arshimo2012 for the Queen's Beast Unicorn and thanks to @Emanuel for the 10 oz Valiant. The 2 sovereigns are from Chards, always happy with their prices. And the 2 x 5 oz Russian proof coins are from Ebay. Also a bargain as the seller accepted my offer. The Russian coins will go to NGC and then in the deposit box for the retirement stack. It has been a nice month with a mix of gold and silver stacking and 2 numismatic collector coins

And what if the Central Banks and JPM are telling you they are doing something, but are actually doing something else which is not going to benefit you?
Ted Butler was not told by JPM that they are stacking. He found out...

Why do you think the Media put this information out?
I know what you mean... the sheeple have always been lured into overbought markets so the rich get richer (who own the media)
But in this case, I am looking what they are actually DOING, not just saying. Central banks buy gold, JP Morgan buys silver. I copy these two, pretty sure the odds are in their favor.

Last year the Bank of International Settlements (boss of all central banks) wrote that gold will be now be treated as a Tier 1 asset. And the central banks have been purchasing physical gold for years like never in history. So.... gold will be a winner in the future! They are the insiders, why would they buy something that will lose in value?
Same goes for silver. JP Morgan would not buy physical silver if they knew it wouldn't go up big time!

Thanks for showing them. I quite like the more intense colour. Would you mind showing the reverse as well?
I was wondering when exactly they would come out. For how long will the old £20s remain valid in shops?
I completely missed the transition to new £5 and £10 notes, and when I've been to the UK again last year, I tried to pay with the old tenners I still had from the previous trip, only to be told that they aren't accepted anymore. Fortunately I didn't have too many; I ended up mailing them to the Bank of England and got reimbursed by direct deposit. I had to provide an "explanation" for where I had the money from and why I still had it. They seemed to be quite serious about it, but even if they thought I was laundering, 50 quid probably wouldn't qualify as a major operation, so "from a trip two years ago" was good enough apparently.
I googled it back then and found that the new £20s would be introduced in 2020, so this time I made sure to not take any £20s back with me.
For anyone in the UK: Is it normal that apparently every single cash machine only dispenses £10 and £20 notes? No £5 or £50? How do British parents even have the right cash to pay pocket money? Would I even be able to get away with paying with a £50 somewhere? I already had the impression that insisting on using cash instead of contactless put me on some sort of list.
It's not that different in the Netherlands where I live, but I'm originally from Germany. Cash payments are one of the few noticable cultural differences that I refuse to adjust to. I will use cash until it's illegal. I vaguely remember a recent survey asking people if they would trust Facebook with their financial data. Hell, I don't even trust my bank with my financial data.
All I ever get from an ATM is 5, 10 and 20 notes 😁 As I am from Germany as well I do like to keep a cash reserve securely locked away at home. Had to go my bank and change it to 50s. Almost everyone I know has no cash reserves at home here in the UK. All digital - that is a trust in a feeble system I do not understand.

This week's add-on: 5 x 2017 Chariot Britannia and 1 oz Russia State Museum. I recently got the Russia 5 oz version, this one completes the set. Both will go to NGC. Thanks go to @arshimo2012 for the Brits.
Total count: 495 ounces of silver, 3 ounces of gold, 1000+ US silver coins (dimes, quarters, half dollars). Way behind on my goals....
No PM in March for me, waiting for prices to drop further then I'll need some more gold.
