Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

... and it looks like we have managed to derail, subvert, and hijack yet another topic / thread.

In an attempt to get it back on track, I saw this today:

1853victoriayoungheadshieldlondonmintgoldhalfsovereignwithoverdateobvwithoverlayshowingexpandeddatecrop.thumb.jpg.06acab08cca4cc0a6f1ef93c000476ef.jpg

An 1853 half sovereign, which could be a possible overdate, but is probably just a "normal" 1853 with a doubled date.

It is still interesting though.

What else did people receive today?

Chards

Still one of my favorite coin series. Sixth issue of the "AUSTRALIA AT NIGHT" series, the Leadbeater's Possum. Lovely coin by the Perth Mint and a great addition to this series and my collection.

Really amazing details on every single coin. Like how the kangaroo's head is reflected in the water, the ants on the echidna coin, the structure of the moon... Every single coin is well thought out.

The coins are coming from Downies / Australia, minted by the Perth Mint. I like every single coin, the Kangaroo is my favorite so far.

Coin courtesy of Silver Trader. Exceptional service as always and by far the cheapest out there once you add the codes from his newsletter 😀

Could you link Silver Trader please? I'm new around these parts and couldn't find that username in the member directory. I'd be interested in signing up to their newsletter (and seeeing if there were any Red Dragons available) ;)

Many thanks,

FNF.

Run by Martin Whitehouse, he's on this forum, but not actively. If it's the 1st series QB red dragon you're after then place a wanted ad in the trade section. I'm sure there will be plenty around. Good luck.

I didn't think I was able to use the trade area as I'm not a premium member. Will investigate.
