Thanks to @PapaLazarou for the safe delivery of the Gilded Golden Jubilee Crown- and for the toxic contraband 😉  

And I go down another Rabbit Hole of collecting the £10 Denominations of the 5oz Silver Jubilee & Coronation issues of Her Majesty.  

Display/storage is going to become a problem as can be seen in the bottom photo, as my Jubilee tray in the cabinet is already full and there’s more of the larger denominations to come😱

Received my replacement 2 ounce silver proof Gothic Crown Portrait yesterday.

No scratches, dings, missing frosting! However, there is some debris on the coin. I have given it a gentle rattle, but does not move.

Don't feel that confident in opening the capsule and trying  to remove it, what do you think? Not sure what the debris is?

There's no issue with taking the capsule off carefully, do not blow this off with your breath, a camera blower works well.

Yes, that would be quite a display- seen this done before, a more permanent solution

Thanks for your replies. They sure could be cornflakes!

Will purchase a camera blower, let's hope I can get the capsule off. As people have mentioned before these capsules are not good.

Went into the Perth Min today and took some photos of the beautiful gold nuggets they have on display and for sale. Did not get any of these but did walk away with three gold tigers (one 1/2oz and three 1/10/oz).

More modest pick ups. A spotless 1999 Britannia, only 8 or 9 short of  the date run now. The 1977 proof crown because, well, every home should have one. It's very pretty. Lastly a good 1941 half crown, another hole filled on that little .500 date run.
