Just something to bear in mind during these price moves. Yes the dollar has weakened quite a bit in the last few weeks, by about 8 points (relatively speaking close to 9%). Silver hasnt gone up by 9%. Its gone up 50% in that same time frame. This price move is far more than normal price correction in line with dollar weakening.

Although the gains have been incredible so far, I still don’t think we have even hit the real accelerator yet. I see people saying the mainstream are jumping on board now but outside of our well informed bubble I see no evidence for that.
 

Watch the news at ten and none of them mention PMs at all. It’s always oil and stocks they talk about. I won’t believe we are in a bubble until I start hearing it on the mainstream prime time news and in major newspaper columns. Only when everyone is talking about it is it a bubble. That’s my signal to move.

Late to the chat here but I just wanted to make one point. 

When people ask "if X gets to Y price, who the hell would buy that", they are fundementally misunderstanding how the markets work.

If silver gets to £30, it gets there because people ARE buying at that price. The price of anything in a marketis dictated by the last sale price. 

Of course its never that simple with PMs and the manipulated spot market and the disconnect to physical prices, but the point remains. The price is the price because that is what people are paying.

No VAT on gold in the UK, so its often worth buying from a UK based seller for gold.

Not sure I follow. Do you mean the fee that exchanges charge? Coinbase has flat fees per price band, equates to about 4% I think. 20%? No chance.
