You will always have missing bits on these types of coins,My half also came today with one small bit of missing frosting on the rim.

But like you not grading so not bothered.

IMO if one zooms into a coin at this level of magnification, one is certain to find some perceived “flaw” or another.

After all, a coin is a physical object; not a digital creation.

My personal thinking is if a coin looks good enough to my naked eye, I’m pleased, as I don’t care about some person at a third party corporation deciding how good my coin is. I am obviously not a grading type of guy. 😉

I am a Half Sov man you are correct. But I have started looking into error/varieties which is not a good sign for my bank balance.

Still prefer my halves 😬

I like half sovs too. Nice diameter for the gold content, and having twice as many makes you feel like Smaug

They are the future. Especially the old high grade ones. In years to come I really think they will do well. Especially as gold continues to climb…
