Lets see what people think. I hear what you are saying.

It could be changed if it proved popular to all be drawn the same day. In my opinion its better done dailey " advent style ".

All prizes can still be swapped theres no swap deadline so to speak. I cant see many items been swapped to be honest.

@Willike are there any games in December that a winner wouldnt want to miss ?

Edit...Or do you have dates in mind for the prize , i shouldnt presume it was free in December .

Kinda like the advent style...and if I win Will’s mega ManU prize (sorry, not really well versed in football...I will take my floggings later) it will give me an excuse to go out and visit @Willike castle! 😀

  2. Oh...and just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water...I bought a 2003 1/4 oz Gold Panda (MS-69). I couldn’t think of a good “Orca” movie analogy, Black and white...pandas...so I had to go with a “Jaws” movie phrase...like a dolls eyes.😁

  3. Bansky achieved the ultimate statement yesterday with “Banksy painting Girl With Red Balloon 'self-destructs' after £1m sale at Sotheby's”...

I find this incredibly amusing, and can just imagine the reactions by those in the auction house...just awesome!

Further, by extension, as mentioned in the article, I could see how the artwork would be worth even more, as I think it is now even more poignant to Banksy’s position in the art world.

  4. @Turkish, thanks! Definitely agree with the  Rwandan’s do have the best Lunar Rooster...to be honest, the Rwandan Lunars are the only Lunars I have in my collection. I think you made a good choice with the Oriental border Britannias. And I have done similar with taking some sound advice from other savvy members on The Silver Forum. Of which, @coinosseur has a great book he has written and @caloundracats I believe may have a couple of copies left for sale. This might be of help as well...

My comments have disappeared. I think the obverse on these coins come under, rare variants? The die 71 is unrecorded.

@Xander, wonderful find! Definitely a rarity with the 1871 Half Sovereign (Noting nose pointing to the “T” in legend) unrecorded Die 71 in Marsh. I found there was one other sold at auction in 2014...

Also, your 1870 Half Sovereign is in beautiful condition!

Thank you, my recent Sovereign withdrawal has been saciated!
