I like the Struck on the day sovereigns , I wonder if we will see both Charles and Camilla on the obverse side on any of their coins 🤔

Now I have had time to sleep on the question, it is highly unlikely there will be a Charles and Camilla gold sovereign.

Looking at previous "royalty" themes, it is much more likely that any such designs will be on crowns.

Please God no more themed sovereigns.   Let the mint produce as many Thomas the Tank , Pinky and Perky or Coronation Street coins as they wish but leave the sovereign alone. Of it produces any more I'm afraid it'll just become another bi monthly money spinner and destroy the magic of the coin.

As the 6 of May (coronation day) approaches, id like the big boys here on the forum to start sharing thoughts and feelings (nothing under embargo vetoes of course); 

i read about a coronation proof, eventually a SoTD but i wonder if that would be THE 2023 (proof) sovereign instead.

And i also wonder about the coronation set. That is an incredibly fascinating and powerful piece of history that will be written soon. I'd prefer the 2023 proof being part of the coronation set to be honest. Cant afford multiple "unique" treasures this year..

I've just had confirmation that there will be a Coronation SOTD sovereign.  RRP £850.

This will be a BU SOTD Sovereign. All I know is a design  "different as the usual run-of-the-mill" Strike on the Day Sovereigns,  and the mintage will be low, dixit a dealer 

If someone can grab more information...
